I got this image (now a new cardholder!) from a really old postcard i bought last weekend at a swap meet my dear friend Piilani took me to in San Diego. I love it- I feel like its encouraging me to make a new bag collection-- with flowers a central inspiration.
i love this picture, its been sitting ony desk for months now. it was taken when we went to Finster's Paradise Garden in GA quite a few years ago......a wonderland that place- GO if you at all can. i found this link to some more pics of the place, tho it doesnt do it justice at all. that place needs to just be experienced
we went downtown last thursday to see the MOCA museum's Ecstasy - altered states of conciousness exhibition and when we got out we walked up to the Walt Disney Concert Hall.....on the way we got kind of enchanted with the trees. all three of us snapping away on our digitals. the last tree with the fruit growing out of its trunk--WOW. that one is outof a storybook. i'd love to know what its called. the picture doesnt do it justice this tree was crraaazzzyy
it GLIIIDDEEESSSSS thanks uncle skipper!!! i love riding my bike around LA. its way less scary then manhatten biking but it still keeps you on your toes...ride ONLY on the sidewalk on the busy streets...people here are oblivious to bicycles ps check out the castle behind me--under renovation...its this really old apt building a block from our place called the Trianon, which were told was built and owned by Mary Pickford for her out of town guests....
Nina's new website is so LOVELY. We did this photoshoot on a lovely spring day in brooklyn almost 2 years ago- therefore my platinum head... check out her CHARMING jewelry and sharp new look by clicking on the title.
