well Chicago was awesome and i have lots of great pics to share but i've barely had time to breathe much less blog this week so that'll have to wait! up next is the Unique LA Show this weekend at the convention center and also the CoLab show at Nucleus Gallery in Alhambra!!!!!!

11:11 all over the place!

This weekend 11:11 will be sold at 3 shows! I'm flying with my box of goodies to Chicago tommorow to show at the Renegade Fair this weekend, and my dear friend Ashley Holm will be selling 11:11 as well as her darling card collection Girl Boy Greetings at the Bust Craftacular show in Echopark on Saturday, and then at the fabulous Silverlake craft market sponsored by Ghettogloss on Sunday!

Double trouble. Watch out! We are heading to San Francisco's Golden Gate park for the Bazaar Bizarre show, and 11:11 will also be in LA at the Silverlake Art, Craft and Vintage market that Ghettogloss is hosting!

Lovely NINA!

one of my dearest sweetest friends Nina Egli came to town the other week, and we had a delightful day together tooling around in my filthy disaster of a car. I wish i had taken more pictures of out time together...we explored my hood and bought random trinkets , ribbons and sequined dinosaurs ( i actually need to go back for the sequined dino's!!) then we went west side and back to take a tour of some of the shops her fabulous lines are carried in...The above picture was taken at the end of the day in Little Tokyo after Nina's first Pinkberry...
She is the amazing talent and brains behind 3 lines(!!!!), super fun jewelry Toujours Toi and new fine jewelry line Circe and a gorgeous new clothing line she teamed up with her amazing mother Kaya on, Family Affairs!
Nina and I used to live together in Brooklyn in a dumpy little charmer in the heart of the action of Williamsburg...ahh those were the days!!! I remember fondly the pancake (my best family recipe ;)!) meal Nina, her mother Kaya, and I shared in the living room on the the dressed up ironing board turned dining table! the sweet memories;)!

MY PIE

I just want to take a moment to thank MY PIE , for making the most delicious pizza i've had in a really really long time. it was a hightlight of the wet weekend. I wish i had a picture for you, but it was eaten too fast for that. YUM! GO! Get the deep dish with spinach.

Rainy Renegade

It figures that chicago would experience a record setting amount of rain, the most EVER IN RECORDED HISTORY, on the one weekend a year i take my wares to Chicago for an OUTDOORS show. oh well, we made the best of it, and in the end, the sun did make a cameo.
On Sunday, when it was just too wet to set up, we went and got into 2 new stores! Thanks to
Stacy of Paper Doll's recommendations, We went over to Hazel and had the good fortune to meet the owner Dave and see his very well curated store. So happy to have 11:11 on those shelves now too!
Also, went to Paper Boy (thanks to Jacob at Ex Libris Anonymous Books) and got into that super fun store as well!
and then in cleared, so we went and set back up..Feeling good that at least we did the best we could!

Chicago next weekend!!!!

We are soooo excited to come to chicago next weekend for this show. I am busy making bags, eye glass cases, and coasters for this show, as well as all our old favorites...wallets , cardholders, books.. galore!
Also working on getting the image collection up online before the show!!!

I've begun making samples for a new bag collection!!! Its my first love, and its been awhile. You have no idea how exciting this is for me. These are just teaser shots i know, but let me tell you the first sample came out so sweet, I am so excited to keep going! Stay Tuned!
